How orders and clicks are tracked

  • Updated

When you receive a referral link, special parameters—with which you can track orders—are automatically added to it. Every creator has a unique set of parameters.

When any of your followers clicks on your referral link and gets to the brand's website to place an order, those parameters are registered on the brand's website and forwarded to ConvertSocial.

After that, ConvertSocial makes a record that the user visited the website and placed the order following your link. This means you will be the one who receives the reward for the order.

You can view the number of clicks and orders through your referral link, as well as rewards, in the section Reports.

Make sure you publish referral links. If you use generic links to a brand's website, orders and clicks will not be tracked, for ordinary links do not contain special parameters.
