Two-factor authentication is an extra level of account protection that guarantees that only you can be granted access to your account, even if someone else has your password.
How it works
After you set up two-factor authentication, you will have to enter the following upon every login:
- your password (as you usually do)
- a code from the Google Authenticator app
How to set up two-factor authentication for one device
After you finish setup, you will be automatically logged out from your account on all other devices. Also, if you have a GetUniq account, your Admitad Partner Network account will be disconnected from it.
1. Hover the cursor over the username field and go to Settings.
2. In settings, go to the tab Account security and click Set up.
If a phone number is already linked to your account, go to Step 5.
3. If you haven't linked a phone number to your account yet, specify it in the field Phone number in the international format, then click Get a text message code.
4. You will receive a text message code. Enter it in the field Enter the code from the text message and click Next.
5. Download the Google Authenticator app on your phone from Google Play or the App Store. Open the app and click Start.
6. Click Scan a QR code and scan the code on the screen.
If you cannot scan a QR code, click Show key. Then, in the app, click Enter a setup key and enter the key you see under the QR code.

How to add several devices for two-factor authentication
If you need to grant other users access to your account, you might want to set up guest access for them. Allowing other people to log in to your account might compromise your security, even if 2FA is enabled.
If you are part of a team and several users have access to the account, you can add up to five devices for authentication.
This way you can protect your account without disrupting your processes. Authentication will be set up on each user's device.
Do the following to add several devices for authentication:
1. In your Admitad ID account, go to the Two-factor authentication section (Security → Password and authentication → Two-factor authentication).
Admitad ID is a beta version of your all-in-one Admitad account. It will let you manage your details in all Admitad products and services and switch between them, all in one place.
2. Click Add authentication device.
3. Follow the instructions on the screen to set up two-factor authentication:
- Download the Google Authenticator app to the new device
- Scan the QR code
- Enter the code from the app
- Enter the new device's name
Make sure the device name is understandable (e.g., Jeffrey's iPhone).
4. Click Enable protection.
Done! You have added a new authentication device.
You can add up to five devices this way.
From now on, when logging in or confirming important actions with your account, you will need to select a device where two-factor authentication is set up, and enter the code from the app.
