ReTag

  • Actualización

ReTag is a tool for working with retargeting affiliates. This is a container where publishers place their codes that help them to monitor the visitor’s actions on the website: what products he viewed, how much time spent on the website, and what products were added to the cart. Based on this data, publishers form a purchase funnel and create personalized ads for this particular user, which allows to return the visitor to the website and push him to perform an action. For example, if a user viewed some product on a website, on the next website he will see an ad with the same product. If the user added a product to the cart, but for some reason did not complete the order, he will get an email newsletter with this product, etc.

The tool is relevant for online shops that have XML feeds, as from it ReTag gets data about the product.

To connect ReTag, you need to set a container code on your website. The code can be obtained from the specialists of Admitad Affiliate tracking department. It is loaded asynchronously and does not affect the work of the website. Read the guide on setting container codes below.

After ReTag is set, publishers can apply for connection. All applications are checked by the account manager in accordance with rigorous selection criteria, so you do not need to worry that you will have to work with unreliable publishers. Besides, you can view all scripts of publishers that were uploaded to the container using the developer tools.
