The general settings define how your affiliate program works in Admitad Partner Network.
The currency in which payments to publishers are made. Matches the currency of settlements with Admitad Partner Network (specified in your agreement).
It's your account manager who specifies your currency.
If you run an online store, we recommend adding a product feed. Then this field will contain a link to it.
A product feed, or an XML feed, is a product catalog in the XML format that contains product information. Publishers use product feeds to create price comparison services, online stores, affiliate stores, and e-mail newsletters with product descriptions and images.
You can add a product feed link on your own if you have the necessary rights.
Or, you can contact your account manager and provide the link to the generated XML file.

A deeplink is a tool that helps a publisher create affiliate links to any pages of the advertiser website (instead of using standard links only). A deeplink can reduce the number of steps in the "click-to-purchase" journey and take a user straight to the page of the product they're looking for. As a result, there's no timewasting, frustration, or loss of leads.
The tool is mainly used in programs of such categories as Online stores, Online services, and Travel.

A period during which the cookies, received by a user's browser and linking them to a particular publisher, will be stored on the user's device. If a user performs a target action during the cookie lifetime, they'll be attributed to the publisher even if they closed their browser or turned off their device.
A recurrent target action performed by a user during the cookie lifetime will also be attributed to the publisher unless otherwise stipulated in the affiliate program terms.
After the lifetime ends, a cookie is deleted by the browser. Actions will no longer be attributed to a publisher unless a user clicks on the publisher's affiliate link again.
A standard cookie lifetime in Admitad Partner Network is 45 days. It can be extended to 365 days. The longer the cookie lifetime, the better for publishers.
The account manager agrees on the cookie lifetime with you, then specifies it in the program settings.
Recruiting new publishers
If you have a limited budget and the number of your publishers is approaching the critical value, after which you won't be able to make payments, you might want to stop recruiting new publishers.
For that, flag Pause by yourself (if you have such rights) or ask the manager to do that.
After you pause recruitment, publishers can't apply to join your program. They'll see the following message:
- In the program catalog: The program has stopped connecting new publishers.
- On the program page: You can't join this program.
Such applications won't come to you for moderation unless you unflag the Pause option.
You can pause recruitment for an unlimited time.
Banning coupon traffic via iframe
In Admitad Partner Network, publishers can use coupon or promo code link options.
In one, links just lead a user to the deal page:
Alternatively, the coupon or promo code header in the iframe will be displayed in the upper part of the page.
If your website doesn't support iframe, or you don't want to use it, forbid this type of coupon traffic.
Follow these steps:
- Flag Ban coupon traffic via iframe (if you have such rights).
- Ask your manager to flag this option.
Then, publishers will only be able to receive links of the first type. All links with iframe elements already used on publishers’ ad spaces will automatically be replaced with such links.
If your website doesn't support iframe, but you don't ban such traffic, publishers will drive traffic through iframe links, and users will perform actions. But your system won't register them.
Tracking and transition settings
When preparing your program, you need to select the sources you'll monitor.
Admitad Partner Network allows you to track actions from the following sources:
- Browser (desktop or mobile)
- Mobile app: installations and various events in the app, such as achieving a particular level, registration, etc. Actions are tracked via mobile trackers (e.g., AppsFlyer, Adjust). This option is great for mobile programs.
- Browser and mobile app. The most optimal tracking options for most advertisers having mobile apps alongside a website.
Inform a tracking department specialist of your decision, and they'll apply the corresponding settings.
Transition link is the link leading users to your website and containing all the necessary Admitad Partner Network GET parameters and your UTM tags. It's specified by the account manager.
The first part of the link (before the "?") is the address of the default page to which users will be taken to. The second part of the link is the list of GET parameters and UTM tags.
One of the parameters must pass the admutad_uid value, a unique click identifier by which the system decides which publisher to attribute an action or user to. As for other parameters, you add and set them up as you wish.
Auto-distribution by group or channel
If you have groups or channels and don't want to distribute publishers manually, set up auto-distribution of publishers with your manager.
In Program regions, you specify the regions where your program will be active (where you have stores or offices and where you can deliver your goods) and from which publishers need to drive traffic to get paid. The regions you select will be shown in the Regions section of the program card and help publishers determine whether their ad space is suitable for your program.
Program categories show the categories corresponding to your field of activity. Your program will appear in Admitad Store in a particular category.
